Baltimore Teen Shot While Riding Dirt Bike: Police

Northeast Detectives are investigating a shooting after a teen checked himself into a Baltimore hospital with gunshot wounds.

The 17-year-old boy was reportedly riding his dirt bike in the area of North Calhoun Street around 11 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 23, when he was shot in the leg, according to Baltimore police.

Detectives responded to the area but were unable to locate a crime scene.

The teen is expected to survive the shooting after being treated for his injuries, officials said.
